Thanksgiving:

- For new ones in my SS class. I have at least one new child coming in each week to join in, which is very encouraging. The latest kiddy additions are: Richard (Raylia’s bro), Eunice, Jerry and Selena (Daughter of my mum’s colleague in B.A kindy). Pray that me and Ivane will continue to reach out to them and their parents / caregivers.

- For turning a year older, wiser, you know the rest. Most importantly, for God leading me through work, ministry, school, family. Also, for giving me colleagues to share, laugh and cry with, as well as friends and brothers and sisters in church to hang out, serve alongside and be encouraged by. :)

- For my darling K1s, whom I’ve taught and gotten to know these past 6 months. All their nonsense, jokes, smiles, tears, bad habits, and noise! It never ends :) I’ve said farewell to 5 dear ones, and now have my precious 18 for the rest of the year. Miss Tan LOVES you, even though you make me angry and raise my voice! haha. Endless love and hugs!

An urgent prayer:

Dear Lord,

I pray for the situation in my school to be resolved. Help us as colleagues to seek you God, when human wisdom fails, and actions and words are only accompanied with anger. Bring peace to us, and help us focus on you. Most importantly, correct us in our behaviour and make us good role models for the children in our care to follow. Help us also to be aware of others and be sensitive to their needs, and help us carry out our work and tasks well. I pray for my boss, that you’ll empower her with words that will build us up but not tear us down, and give her confidence to carry out her leadership duties in the best way possible.
