A reply from my Finnish boy’s mum made my day!
They’re doing fine in the US, though the flight was long and tiring. Good thing the boys (He and his younger brother) are sleeping longer hours now. Please pray all goes well for the op.

Today was a super rushed Monday, one of the days where my sweat accumulates and never seems to dry off my face or my back till after school. Really. Here’s the whole shebang of how most mondays look like: Off to school, grab keys, open door, wheel out bicycles for outdoor play, set traffic rules, run up to class, set own classroom, run down, wash hands, greet kids, take temperature, usher in latecomers, lead assembly, change CDs, lead class back to classroom, collect notebooks, sit down, mark attendance, start lesson!
Wow wee! Yes, my super packed monday. I used to start lessons later last year when we had 2 sessions, so it was a luxury to have free periods from 9 to 9.45am. Now, it’s a dream that has long gone away. You’ll be lucky to squeeze in time to actually go to the loo. The art of control is already a common thing among staff. tee hee. Control, i say!
Breathe deep, and CHIONG! The normal routine sort of settles in after snack at 10.30, then I can breathe easy only after 12pm, after I have bundled my kids off to the music room for speech and drama. Shall not use the phrase “throw them inside”. That would be harsh. haha.
Two more weeks! :)
